Is it safe to clean my designer coat?
Yes – as long as it’s done correctly. We follow the care label and use specialist processes designed for high-end outerwear, including down and technical fabrics. Before any cleaning takes place, we inspect your coat for fabric type, trims, hardware and previous damage so we can choose the safest method. This helps protect the insulation, water-repellent coatings, fur trims and overall shape of your coat.
Designer brands such as Canada Goose and Moncler often require more care than everyday jackets. Our team is experienced in handling these items, so you don’t need to worry about shrinking, flattening or colour loss when your coat is in our hands.
Can you remove all stains?
We achieve excellent results in most cases, but some older or set-in stains may only lighten. We’ll always aim for the best outcome without risking damage to the fabric. Every stain is assessed individually, and we choose products and techniques that are appropriate for both the mark and the material.
Certain stains, such as oil, dye transfer or very old marks, can be bonded to the fibres and therefore may not completely disappear. In these cases, we focus on improving the appearance as much as possible while keeping the coat safe. We will always be honest about what is realistic before we begin.
How long does designer coat cleaning take?
Turnaround time depends on the level of staining and any extra work required, but most designer coats are ready within a few days. If we need additional time for stain re-treatment or careful drying and re-fluffing of down, we’ll let you know in advance.

Should I try to clean the coat at home first?
We generally recommend avoiding DIY cleaning on luxury coats. Home washing, strong stain removers or scrubbing can flatten the filling, strip protective coatings or cause permanent rings and patches. If your coat is valuable, it is usually safer and more cost-effective to bring it straight to a specialist cleaner.
If a spill has just happened, gently blot (don’t rub) with a clean cloth and leave the rest to us. Avoid hot water, bleach or multi-purpose cleaning sprays on designer outerwear.
